Last season’s ACES semi-finalists have had a season of “what might have been’s”, and are saving the best for this year’s event! The team were so close to winning everything this season, but just missed out each time! Narrowly missing out in the East Berks Football Alliance league, they lost the EBFA cup final too in extra time to a side they beat home and away in the league. In the Berks & Bucks County Cup, they were leading their semi-final, having knocked out the EBFA league champions on route to the semis, only to succumb 2-1 when the goalkeeper was injured and had to be taken off.
