19 Jun Famous faces at ACES
It’s been a very successful first weekend of ACES and the event even attracted some football stars.
What a fantastic opening weekend at Pitchero ACES Nationals 2017. Along with some incredible talent on the pitch, off the pitch there were some talented figures. Ex-England and Premier League footballer, Andy Johnson was present with his U13 team.

The former professional’s side unfortunately got knocked out of the competition after an intense penalty shootout but hope to be back next year.
With Pitchero ACES Nationals being such a prestigious and talented event in grassroots football, it’s no wonder some of the best of the best were there to pass on their knowledge and wisdom to the next generation.
As well as a male ex-pro enjoying the junior talent, England International and Chelsea FC footballer, Gemma Davison was also present and enjoying the event with her family.
Davison has been a consistent player for England over the years and helped them secure a place at Euro 2017, another brilliant role model and inspiration for young football stars.
We’ll be posting all the highlights, photos, videos and interviews of teams over the course of the week so keep an eye out and we look forward to another weekend ahead filled with junior grassroots gold.
