“the best tournament we have ever been to” BDS Bradford
The Aces 2010/ 2011 tournament was held for the first time at the home 0f Harborough Town FC and their superb facilities. This combined with four neighbouring councile pitches ensured that we had eight first class surfaces to play on.
Over a thousand boys came to compete at the highest level ….some achievement!
The weather was kind to us and all in all a great tournament was had by one and all. Just take a look at the distances teams traveled to compete. They came from Portsmouth and Dover in the south, Norwich and Ipswich in the east, Swansea in the west and Carlisle and Newcastle in the north.
It is no wonder that we had scouts from teams such as Man Utd, Birmingham, Aston Villa, Wolves, Leicester City, Notts Forest to name but a few watching the teams.
